Honey, I'm Home!!
Yeeeeehaw! So excited for our 2018 season! Our hiatus was nothing short of action-packed this Winter, most of which was preparing us for our FIFTH year here! I recently was going through some old photo rolls (trying to free up 'storage' - thanks, Apple!) and had so many flashbacks. You ever get that feeling when you see an old picture of yourself and recall thinking you looked so hot at the time?? haha Some of our early days here at the Daisy gave me that feel!
Of course, it also brought back many fond memories and proud moments as well! When I relocated to our little corner of Loy Lake Road and Hyde Park Avenue in late 2013, I was nervous and excited and anxious and enthusiastic all at once! I had no idea what to expect but I just kinda went with the "if you build it, they will come" approach.
So build it I did.
Little by little,
day by day,
inch by inch,
we have changed or updated or reconfigured this one-time eyesore
into a corner I'm hearing the community is quite proud of!
I remember authoring my Business Plan and while my ideas felt do-able, they also seemed a bit of a stretch at the time. I think between each line, it was invisibly written "just SURVIVE!". Isn't that what most all small businesses really want to do when they start out? So, whether I always knew exactly what I was doing or not, here we are ...... FIVE years later! And it would never be possible without the huge love and support from our customers! Cheers to that and high fives all around!
Hiatus was nice, but it's time to get this anniversary party started! Honey, I'm hooooome!!!
